It has been awhile since I have spoken with many of you.  We are growing rapidly at Weberz and have recently updated our website.  Over the coming months you will see many new and exciting changes as we continue to grow. 

Weberz has built a highly reliable, scalable and secure network from the ground up with an excruciating focus on security.  We have distinguished ourselves from the competition by focusing on today’s security issues. We take pride in the care that we give our network and all of our users.

Over the coming months you will see an upgrade to the newest version of Apache on our servers along with a system wide upgrade to the newest version of the H-Sphere control panel.

In addition to this we are also in the process of beginning construction on a new data center that will be in our own building and we are hoping to have in operation no later than February 2010.  We have remained a financially sound company over the past six years and are still focused on our continued growth and providing our users with the support and tools they need to have the best web hosting experience possible.

We have currently phased out Shared Microsoft Exchange hosting along with hosting in the United Kingdom.  Neither of these services proved to be popular with our users and due to the high cost of maintaining these services that our users just weren’t using, we have made the decision to discontinue them.

With this change we have also re-visited our hosting packages available to our users.  We have increased bandwidth and space on many plans to be in line with industry standards.  All users will be migrated to the new plans automatically starting on Nov 15th 2008.  Users will need to take no action and move no files as their web files, databases and email will not be effected by this migration.  While migrating our customers to these new plans we will be selecting the plans that are the closest match to the plan your account is on now.  In the meantime the new plans are available for everyone to view on our website and users are encouraged to upgrade to one of these plans in the control panel before the Nov 15th deadline.

It is our goal to ensure every user gets the most value for every dollar they spend with Weberz and we are confident that this migration will empower our users to do just that.
