Late last week we made some changes to our domain name servers to eliminate some issues that certain resellers were having resolving some of their server alias names. During the process of rebuilding these servers we also moved the NS3 server to a new IP address at an offsite location. This will allow DNS lookups to continue resolving in the event of a data center wide outage helping eliminate extended downtimes due to bad DNS resolutions during the outage. Weberz Hosting has currently been experieicning website traffic latency that has been caused by the LINUX.UK web server in the Portland Data Center. To minimize downtime and additional outages it has unfortuantely become necessary to temporarily disable access to this web server for the security and protection of our users and the data located on this server.
It is our number one primority to minimize downtime and bring this server back online as soon as possible. We are currently anticipating a 4-6 hour downtime window for this outage and this outage should only be experienced on the LINUX.UK server.
