Linux3 hard drive replacement – May 27th 2010
About 30 minutes ago we replaced one of the hard drives in the Linux3 server. The old hard drive was failing nightly tests and causing the system to go down nightly. The total time it took to replace the drive was roughly 5 minutes.
All websites are currently back online and working from this downtime. Over the next few hours the server may run slightly slower while the raid is rebuilt on to the new drive, however it should not be a noticeable performance hit. Please contact support if you have any problems.
