On October 10th of last year we sent out a service announcement where we had mentioned a possible new data center for Weberz. Today I am pleased to announce that this is in progress. The final contracts for the data center were signed earlier this afternoon that wrapped up the final details of the new facility.
Our parent company General Pacific decided over a year ago to build a new facility for it’s electrical distribution services. After many meetings with lawyers and the like, they were able to secure a property in Fairview, Oregon for the new facility. During this time I had many meetings with upper management and we decided to take a look at the possibility of adding on to that new facility a data center for the Weberz Hosting division.
