How much does it cost?

Is the up-front cost refundable?
The initial charges are not refundable.
How long does it take to get a dedicated server online?
All of our standard servers are available right away. Custom servers or large server orders may take additional time to provision.
Should I get a dedicated server instead of using shared hosting?
Weberz can not answer that question for you. You need to evaluate your current situation and make a decision from that point. There are benefits to having a dedicated server. If you run a dedicated server you're not forced to share resources with other people. For applications that require extreme computing power this might be the way to go. You also get full root access to your server. This makes you the system admin for that box. You can run custom compiled applications, etc. There are drawbacks to having a dedicated server. The most notable would be the cost. Because you have the server all to yourself you will incur a higher monthly fee.
Can I install my own operating system on my dedicated server?
For a number of reasons the answer is no. First off to install on O/S you must have physical access to the box itself. Weberz staff are the only people that have physical access to the servers. Liability comes into play here too. By offering a certain operating system(s) Weberz can not be held liable for failures due to a bad O/S install, etc. When you order your dedicated server you can specify which O/S you wish to run and a friendly member of the Weberz staff will put a default installation on the box for you. Currently Weberz supports Linux, FreeBSD and Windows Server 2003 Web Edition
Does Weberz offer backup solutions?
Weberz does not offer backups for dedicated servers. In the event of a hardware failure Weberz will replace the faulty hardware and restore the box to its original state. It is up to the customer to keep their data backed up.
What are the T.O.S. and A.U.P. for dedicated servers?
Our normal T.O.S. and A.U.P., with a few exceptions, apply to our dedicated servers. You can view the T.O.S. here and the A.U.P. here.
What are the exceptions to the T.O.S. and A.U.P.?
Our 30 day money back guarantee and daily backups do not apply to our dedicated server offering.
What type of S.L.A. do you offer on your dedicated servers?
