What is the mailbox email option?
The mailbox email option is used to create a normal email address on your domain. It creates a virtual box to store email until it is retrieved from the server. Each mailbox is secured by a username, the email address, and the password specified in the control panel when creating the email mailbox.
A mailbox is different from a mail forward because it collects email and stores it rather than forwarding the email to another email address. Email aliases are also different from mailboxes as a mail alias is another virtual name for a real mailbox.
Each mailbox created on the Weberz Hosting system is given a specific quota for storing email. When the email box reaches it’s storage quota the email server will start rejecting email until a user collects and removes email from the server. Mail forwards and mail aliases have no such quota’s because they do not collect email.
